YUNSA Power (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of large cylindrical full-tab batteries. Established in February 2023, the company successfully completed its Angel Round and Pre-A Round financings in 2023 and 2024, with investors including Shunwei Capital, Ningbo Haishu Industrial Investment, Lingge Venture Capital, etc. The current registered capital is 14,092,978 RMB.
The core team members have over 20 years of industry experience, forming a rare mature team in China with extensive expertise. Since its founding, the team has continuously pursued innovation in the field of large cylindrical batteries. It has applied for over 70 patents and participated in formulating more than 10 industry standards. In collaboration with automotive enterprises, the company undertook major science and technology projects funded by the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology in 2023.
Located in Huizhou, Guangdong, the R&D base has an investment of over 20 million RMB and covers an area of 1,900 square meters. It has established one trial production line for large cylindrical full-tab batteries and one for precision structural components, both operating in environments with -45℃ dew point, 10,000-class dust control, constant temperature, low humidity, and high cleanliness. This makes it the only company in China currently capable of both developing and prototyping large cylindrical full-tab battery cells and their structural components.
The company's headquarters and manufacturing base are situated in Ningbo, Zhejiang. In May 2024, it officially initiated the construction of the first-phase 75PPM mass production demonstration line for 46-series large cylindrical full-tab batteries. This production line, the first maglev assembly line for 46-series batteries in China, was completed and put into operation in March 2025, with an annual production capacity of 1.5GWh.
The 46-series large cylindrical full-tab batteries offer significant advantages in fast charging, low-temperature performance, rate heating, safety, and standardization. Products include high-energy and high-rate batteries for e-VTOL, ultra-fast charging batteries for passenger vehicles (enabling charging within 10 minutes), 10C rate discharge batteries for power energy storage, and fast-charging, long-life batteries for two-wheeler battery swapping. Notably, the 46120PC large cylindrical lithium iron phosphate power-type cell supports 3–10C continuous charge and discharge, with the capability to discharge at 10C under -20℃ conditions.
